I keep getting phone calls saying I owe money on a loan from about 5 years ago and they are about to have me arrested. They number they are calling from shows Birmingham yet they say they are in Georgia. I cannot pull anything up when trying to search for the company except bad things. They will not send anything by mail. This is not the first time.

Call saying they have a claim in their office in my name (maiden name) with the last four of my ssn. And that I must call back to avoid wage garnishment or appearance in court and that they can settle over the phone. They also have family member names and have called and harassed family members as well.

I received a phone call from CRS regarding a mediation case and my name is listed as a respondent in a civil complaint. The first message said I or my lawyer should return a call and us case number 861604 when returning the call. I thought the message mentioned travel but I am not sure. I called the number back from a different number and the person asked for my name and asked me to verify the last four of my ssn she has on file. I told her I do not give out my ssn and I asked who is the client and what is the name of her company. She said she couldn't tell me the name of the client or any further details until I confirmed my last four of my ssn. I told I cannot do that and asked again what is the name of her company. She said CRS Recovery Systems. I told her thank you and we ended the call. The CRS number used is 252-284-0007.
