They hacked a friends account on instagram and told me if I would like to invest in bitcoin. So this person got me to go thru different transactions totaling $1900 of bitcoin. She had me sent it to a wallets. Then I had to make an account on cryptomegaltrade.com so I did and on the platform I do see the amount of $1900 with an invest earnings of $43000 but they I guess I have to upgrade my account in order to be able to withdraw. So that’s when I started informing myself and found that this might be a scam.

I was asked to send $300 of Bitcoin to an account through cashapp. I was told I would receive $10,000 in profit from investing but that I would need to upgrade my account with $1,200 in order to receive the funds. I have not receive anything. Its Fake! Fake website, fake numbers, all a scam!.

Did you received your money ?

I was asked to send $600 of Bitcoin to an account through cashapp. I was told I would receive $13,000 in profit from investing but that I would need to upgrade my account with $1,200 in order to receive the funds. I have yet to receive anything.

They claim to "invest" your initial payment in Forex for a return in profits. Once paid, they have you register on their website showing you the earnings. However, when requesting to make a withdrawal, they claim you must pay to "upgrade" your account in order to request for a withdraw. Once you pay for the "upgrade", they then claim that a "withdrawal pin" fee must be paid in order to receive said profits. Once you pay the "withdrawal pin" fee, they still do not release your funds claiming that you must pay another fee in order to make the withdraw and have the funds transferred to your desired form of payment. My initial payment was $300 to get back $6000, once inside and registered, they claimed for me to pay $700 to upgrade the account, once upgraded they then stated for me to pay an additional $750 to get a withdraw pin, now in order for me to complete and get the profits showing I need to pay another $500. All transactions are conducted in the form of bitcoin. You must purchase said amounts in bitcoin then send them to an account they designate which is known as the company's wallet. They do not tell you the overall costs of investment until you've completed the previous cost with the promise of receiving the profits in your amount showing. What started out as a $300 investment to receive $6000, has now became a $1,750 investment with no profits being released. When asked for refund, they claim your money is invested and cannot be refunded. So in order to receive said profits, you must continue paying the fees or lose your "investment". When told that they will be reported to the ScamPulse.com as a scam or fraud, they threaten to delete your account. I have screenshots of conversations and website account. In my opinion, they will continue to have reasons not to transfer your funds by claiming that there is a "fee" of some sort to be paid using bitcoin as a form of payment.
