I received a random check in the mail for $2,450.00 and I had no idea where it came from or how they got my address. I googled every bit of information I read on the check and nothing came up. The check was dated from last year and in my name. It came from a construction company in Texas, however the person who sent it came from Florida. I was very scared and concerned.
