I received 3 calls in a row with messages left each time indicating that "it is imperative that I call right back as soon as possible." I called back and immediately was asked to identify myself and confirm personal identification information. I told Tyler that I was not comfortable confirming anything until I knew what the call was about. At that point he became very frustrated wit me and said "ok, we will see you in court." Not knowing what this was about it gave me concern that someone was trying to commit a debt collectors fraud or some other type of scam. I do not have anything negative on my credit report and have not received any other type of notification in any other way.
I believe this to be a scam in an attempt to scare people into "paying off a debt collection" to avoid court, and I think this should be investigated.
