Cumberland Lenders Reports & Reviews (1)

I received a call from a company named Cumberland Lenders and spoke with A lady named Victoria Clark. I had recently applied for a loan and she called and offer a 5,000 dollar loan if I made a 535 collateral payment. I went and made a wire transfer at Walmart on 7/14 to a man named Derek Bilson in Quebec Canada. After doing this Victoria said I would receive funds in my checking account within 2 hours. Needless to say I never received it. Call their office the next morning and spoke with her again she then proceeded to tell me that the broker (Derek Bilson) was wanting another 535 collateral payment. So on 7/15 again I went and did another wire transfer to him in the amount of 535. After making second collateral payment Victoria then gave me the run around and said they could furnish me the loan because they could not get enough insurance to cover the loan in case I decided not to pay. I was promised a full refund in the amount of 1082.00. Within two weeks. This amount was for both collateral payments and transfer fees. She was suppose to send me updated paperwork on the loan contract not being funded and tracking for when they send out my refund through carrier. Its been a month and a half and haven’t received my refund. I’ve emailed and called her several times and can’t get anyone to answer on phone or email. Do not do any work with this company they are scam!!!
