Received a call from Julie McLane about a sale on pallets. They wanted me to wire them $191.00 before delivery. It seemed odd so I did some research on them and the original Custom Michigan Millwork had closed years ago and these people were using their name. I found their building was up for sale and called the real estate agent. He said he had been getting endless calls about the people that were renting the building (in process of being evicted). That people were trying to track Julie and Michigan Millworks down because they had been scammed, prepaid for pallets and never received them. I don't know if Julie was the only one committing fraud but she was 100% doing her best to get me to prepay.
