I won SEVERAL BIG PALETS and misc items including microwaves air purifiers yard equipment and much more in an online auction I found from the hibid home page. I frequent the local auctions on here and never had a issue in the past 5 years on a bi monthly basis I was using and winning lots. This was my first time using a nion local auction house called Custom Auction Services. They had pallets and I prefer to bid on them as they generally bring in more profit with less work. I was excited to have won so many pallets at one auction for such a low price my entire lot was only $368.00. The stated pick up days were the following tuesday after auction closes on Saturday from 9am to 4pm. All the auctions on here allow for several payment methods and all include cash at pickup and that's how I've always done it. I rented a 26ft U-Haul hired a hand to help move and called the business just before making the 45 Mike trip one way o infor them I was coming for the palets and asked which payment they accepted, the lady confirmed cash was only option to pay. Me and my hired hand arrived at the location ion the Tuesday stated at 11am. The lady then said she called the number that was on my file and that it was the incorrect number. We had however had email contact since the day of the auction with my invoice etc, so she says a lady answered that day when she called and that this lady "put of the kindness of her heart was a bigger size old lady who had a bunch of kids and came in 2 trucks to purchase the lots I had won" because she was "afraid I wasn't going to come and they would get stuck with all that junk in the warehouse" and then continued oon to call this lady who so kindly bought my items illegally who then accused me of wrong doing they even went as far as all 5 male employees surrounded me and my hel[er attempting to intimidate us physically and when that failed the demeanor completely flipped. After the run around being cursed at yelled at and threatened then offered a opportunity to meet this lady in another town to purchase my items from her at her residence I still offered to oblige then the lady changed her mind and location 3 to 6 times in only 5 phone calls within a 3 minute period yelling cursing Ione call then offering me a favor to meet then saying no again then changing towns and addresses I was so angry for the best of all involved I calmly and politely as I had remained the entire time left and returned home out the money I paid for the lots won the U-Haul fees fuel hired help fees and projected profit from the items stolen and supposedly resold to a sudden 3rd party however it was obvious the two ;adies had conspired the whole story prior to my arrival. About a $1500-$6000 loss in total from this lesson I learned .
