Received a text from potential client. Was “in the hospital” so couldn’t meet with me in person to make payments for pet sitting. Asked me to take credit card payment. When I said I didn’t take credit cards, asked me to create an online Intuit Quickbooks account. When I tried to do that in an attempt to help this person out of a jam, QB had rejected my request. When I informed the “client” they began asking questions about my bank, etc. As soon as I told them I don’t share that information, they quit contacting me. This is very similar to some Craigslist scams I’d received texts, msgs, phone calls on items I was selling.

Listed vehicle for sale on Craig’s list text from interested person who wanted vin report prior to scheduling appointment to see the vehicle got the vin report & tried to forward but no response from potential buyer have disputed the charge with the credit card company.

"Mike" posed as a customer trying to get some cleaning done from us...his responses to my emails did not add up. See below for his messages

Ok fine thanks for the respond well am relocating from my old house moving down to your city and i would like to know how much will 10 x 14 rug cost for cleaning and actually i have 10 rugs of that, can you do the total calculation for the cleaning for the 10 rugs sized 9,00 square feet and give me the total price?

-Fine, i got the total cost,(HE WAS NEVER GIVEN A TOTAL COST)so i want to do the cleaning arrangement for the rugs and after completing the payment with my credit card,the private delivery guy can have the rugs move down to where you are for the cleaning asap
