Someone from "customer service" asked if i could hear him ok. I answered yes. He began talking about being selected for a free vacation. This was a robocall.

Heard about this scam, but it still caught me off guard and I said "Yeah?"

Robotic voice, recorded call, purpose is to get you to say "Yes" so they can record it and "prove" you accepted something

i was claled by "Josh in the customer service department." He asked if I could hear him, and then after I (stupidly) said yes, he said I won a Disney cruise.

Phone number call came from on my cell is 248-731-5865 Michigan. They asked if I could hear them. Forgot and said yes and they said they were from the Customer Service Department. I said we are not interested and hung up.

Used a local area code number. When answered computer announces hi I'm Jeff from the customer service department. Can you hear me ok? I disconnected call and made no communication efforts

A recorded voice said they were from "the customer service department." They asked me a question that I would answer "yes" to. I knew of the scam but fell for it anyway. A news organization said to report it to you right away.

Received a call and was immediately asked "Can you hear me ok?". I responded "yes" before I even realized that it was an unknown number and likely a scam. The caller started to say that I won a vacation, but I immediately hung up before saying anything else.
