"Hello there, I am looking at a building permit which states that a contractor did work for you at (my address) in March 2012. Could you please tell me how it went? Were they reliable, and would you recommend them to a friend? I'm helping a property owner find a professional for her project, and I’m looking to learn more before I make a recommendation. Well first of all, No contractor did work at my address that required a building permit in 2012, or anytime around that time. Not sure what there is to gain from this. I did not response to the email.
I received another email a week later telling me she is waiting to hear back from me. No company name, address or phone number. I plan to find out if someone filed a building permit in 2012 to do work at my address, once I find out where to go to find it out.
