This happened on Jan. 6, 2024. I used QR scanner to reach an intended site in Japan to buy tour tickets. The scammer site was at the bottom of the page in small print with big "OK" sign and appeared to be part of the intended site. After I pressed, the next page ask me for my name, credit card, CVV, and check mark to agree for trial membership for 5 days at $1.95, if not canceled after 5 days, there will be monthly fee of $49.95. I pressed again and realized I made a mistake. My credit card is charged initially $1, then $1.95 from MOTORACHES.NET. I have already stopped further payment to MOTORACHES.NET from my bank and reported this to BBB.org. In the website's privacy statement "https://mediabundled.com/legal/privacy," it appears MOTORACHES.NET is the provider, and meidabundled.com is the platform providing a service that would charge $49.95/month if not canceled. I do not know if I have to cancel my membership from MOTORACHES.NET or mediabundled.com, I cannot find the information on canceling my membership. I am not sure if I have set up an account, but since they have my personal information, I want to make sure I will not be charged, and to report the tactics they use to get people to mistakenly sign up for their service.`
