"My name is Jenifer Thomas - HR Business Partner III at CVR Energy, Inc. I'm here to interview you for the post of Remote Graphic Designer."
On 12/07/23, they emailed me a "check" (which bounced) to be mobile deposited into my account in order to purchase a laptop for work. The bank on their check is listed as "Rockharbor Church" with and address of 345 Fischer Ave, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.
They also requested I attend training with this new laptop as soon as possible (which I didn't do). I have met with my bank today (12/11/23) for assistance with the financial side of things, and have ceased all further communication with this company.
