I received a text about a prescription from CVS. I called the number they gave to question the charge of $289.89. After they asked for my name and verified my phone number the call was disconnected. I then went on the CVS app and found out the number is not valid.

I received a call at 9am 6/28/23 from a "person:" that said he was calling from CVS Pharmacy. I answered the call as I recognized it was coming from my local pharmacy (808) 235-4551. He asked to speak to my daughter and he used her name. He asked is she available to come to the phone? I replied "No" He then asked are you able to speak on her behalf regarding her RX. And I replied "YES" and then he suddenly hung up the phone.

I called CVS to report the issue as neither of us have any RX.
