CXG Reports & Reviews (1)

Some time ago I got an email from CXG.com asking if I wanted to do quality control at SFO International airport. I found out I’d have to go through passport control and security checks to be able to review businesses at the airport! So some time later when it appeared that I could review some local stores and boutiques around San Francisco I accepted the offer of employment. I had to fill out an extensive application online including my social security number. Then I emailed AnaSofia Navarro to ask for work opportunities, after I thought I was done! I then was told I had to take a test. The test was super random and asked questions about due processes that hadn’t been discussed or disclosed to me. I then thought about how strange it was that I had to take a test that was so specific and required course content knowledge in order to pass it. Consequently, while the questions weren’t difficult to comprehend I failed the 90% passing grade 3 times making me ineligible to retake it! After my lengthy time investment to simply onboard with CXG I contacted the recruiter AnaSofia and she emailed that she would change my status from fail to pass. Then gave me two assignments, at Berluti and Valentino San Francisco. I took time to print out the application for the job and the rate of pay for one assignment was $35 and $40 for the other! I paid for parking, fuel and bridge tolls to complete the assignments. Yesterday I had been scheduled for four more assignments and based on the first two I felt confident about completing the tasks. After three were completed yesterday and another one scheduled for today, I was told by AnaSofia that one task was completed incorrectly and I would not receive any pay. After I paid for fuel, parking and fuel I was suspicious of the fact that 100% of all required work was done and submitted professionally with all requirements fulfilled. The email I received explained I had checked a selection box of ‘other’ on the live.cxg.com website instead of ‘ready to wear menswear’ and this rendered all the work, expense and time invested as worthless! Earlier in the day I had emailed AnaSofia and asked about another advertised assignment and received an immediate email contesting the rate of pay! I thought I was working for a professional organization but now have been shortchanged and robbed! Assignments I’m eligible for have not been offered even though I’d requested to work them and now I see that the recruiter invests time in contesting advertised pay rates and finding frivolous and non consequential ways to deny my pay. Then I was told by AnaSofia that she would cc her manager Brittany Wright who has yet to manage anything!
