My Mother, (83 years of age), received a call on her home phone on 1/6/2021, and was talked into buying insurance for her computer. The Scammers obtained her banking information, SS#, email, and not sure what else.

They created a check using the information she gave them and showed it to her on her computer!! She went to the bank 2 days later to report the situation. The bank took action to flag her account. I received an email from the bank with a copy of the fraudulent check. She said that they spoke with a foreign accent. The image of the check has personal info on it, not sure if I should send it.
