Facebook Acct. I called and spoke to a person with an Asian accent (sounded like someone from India). I explained my issue.
The person asked for my email address which I gave her. After a pause, the person said she pulled up my Facebook acct. and
could see after running a network diagnostic that I had been hacked 108 times and my online banking and shopping was at
high risk. Then I was transferred to person in their Compromised Acct. Resolution Dept. to get things resolved. This individual
also spoke with an Asian acct. (someone from India). She asked if I would go to Anydesk.com and share my desktop which I
regrettable did. I spent about 30 minutes with this person going through steps to protect my acct. When she instructed me to
logon to my bank accts. to see if there were any fraudulant charges I refused. I told her I had already checked and had no
questionable transactions. When the person said she could remove the hackers by having me make a "dummy" purchase of
a gift card, I also refused and told the person this was a scam and I was signing off.
