Remote Work From Home Scam
I set up zoom and speak with Natali Kosiner. She’s apparently an HR rep. She goes in detail about the job and it’s pay. The job is a remote scheduler and the pay is $32.00 an hour. In my head thats the first red flag. It’s very basic duties and not that I’m complaining about the wage because it’s more than generous, but for those kind of duties? The pay scale doesn’t match. I get asked a bunch of questions from natali like what is my typing speed, what does open door policy look like to you and what does this company owe you? Strange couple of questions, but I persist and answer them all. She then states that she is going to send all of my questions and answers off to another team to review and will be right back.
Not even 10 minutes later I get the approval for the job. NEVER IN MY LIFE have I ever been accepted that quickly for a job. Wouldn’t the company have hundreds of job applicants to review? Anyways, so I am asked when am I available to start. I tell Natali that I can immediately. So she wants me to start at 8:00am on July 25th. The next day. I understand companies can be desperate for workers, but I’ve never started a job that quickly in the healthcare industry. So far, these scammers know my phone number and email.
I received an email from Aya Naveh-Perlmuter. The email looks like it’s an unofficial email and looks like a scam. The offer letter she attached has another victims name in the spot where my name is supposed to be located. At this point I am searching the internet looking for anything that this could be a scam. In my head I know it is. This might be a relatively new scam for this company. There is just too many red flags. Please don’t fall victim to these scammers. I am glad I didn’t enter any SSI info or anything like that.
