I joined Facebook English Springer Spaniel for Adoption group. I spotted a post and sent PM to Cynthia Marie (or Cynthia.carie564) to ask location of puppies and female availability. Reply via FB was that litter was in Glendive MT and pick up address was 419 N Kendrick Avenue. (FYI, this was an actual Glendive address, but property homeowner name did not match seller name.) Cost of puppy was $950. Paid $300 via Venmo to seller husband Miguel Gonzales/Larry for deposit. Then paid another $300 ($250 for flying the puppy from Dawson Community Airport-Glendive to me plus $50 to equate to 50% of total cost of $1,200) via Venmo to seller husband Miguel Gonzales/Larry. I was to pay the $600 balance once the puppy arrived. Seller said puppy was at airport, and shipping company would be contacting me. Shipping company Inter State Logistics Shipping texted me with a tracking number, departure/arrival time. When clicking the website provided, it said puppy would not ship in such a crate. I would need to pay $1,000 and would receive $950 refund upon delivery of the puppy. Next a Inter State Logistics Shipping representative called from 434.216.1979 (spelled Virgilina VA) to ask about payment. Phone number look up did not lead to that shipping company or anything. Website in the text was likely fake. Confirmed neither airport knew of that shipping company. Confirmed no puppy can be shipped from that airport without a person flying. Texted seller asking for $600 refund and received vague replies and then silence. No refund to date...
