I was fed x a check 3 days later on April 24th, 2023. I was told to purchase working materials from the vendor after depositing check.
I began to realize this was fraud not an actual job. I had given my direct payroll, filled out w-4 info, and signed a contract for hire 3 days ago, prior to this orientation.
I called my bank and ask to stop payment and fraud alert.
