Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I texted the scammer to say that I will only accept cash for the sale of my item. He replied that now that I had his money (the two checks) he would report me to a government agency if I didn't comply with his instructions. I told him to stop harassing me and blocked him from contact. But I could see how this scenario could be confusing and scary if someone wasn't sure it was a scam or didn't have a good grasp on the English language. Please help track these people down.
Perhaps it is interesting to know that the first check and letter came in a UPS envelope with the following address: BlueTrack, Inc, 8186291113, Bluetrack, Inc, 855 Bloomfield Avenue, Clifton, NJ 07012 and the identical second check and letter came in a small padded unmarked envelope from the following address: Origin ID: DUFA, Ingram George, 1805 Franklin Ave, High Point, NC 27260 with a phone number on the label of (364) 376-4546.
