Daco-2081 paid and received via PayPal. The straight talk refill covers 30 days of service. Straight talk deactivated my service and said that the bank requested a refund from the purchase from Sept 24. I looked at my transaction/payment history and noticed the seller used multiple credit cards that got declined until he eventually was able to get one approved. The cards had different numbers and were ranging from Visa cards and American Express. He basically is creating a triangulation scam where the seller uses ebay to sell cell phone refill cards for less and use stolen credit cards to refill the cell phone service. I reported the scam to eBay and the customer representative said that this was not allowed and against the terms but ebay have not taken the seller down, so they are still allowed to sell straight talk refill cards using stolen credit cards. I contacted straight talk and informed them of the situation and that I needed documentation of the chargeback and they said they only could provide me with the Merchant ID number via phone, because it’s against their privacy policy to send an email or bill stating the chargeback although it’s connected to my phone number. Therefore I was not able to get a refund via PayPal because I could not show sufficient evidence of the chargeback.
