I then received a text message from a Dr. Miguel Moller, that my application was being considered and if I would be open to a quick interview via text message. After that I was offered the position as a virtual assistant and they would send me the necessary documents and guidelines which can be found here:

I then received another form to fill out my bank information for payment and that it needed to go through the financial department for approval and I would receive an email with a check to deposit. I know it sounds weird but the job posting did say that they pay upfront before you begin your assigned task. Anyway I deposited the check which came from a regular email address not even a business email: [email protected] and the check was put on hold, he then sent me another check to deposit which was also put on hold by my bank. Initially checks take time to clear especially if its the first time receiving some from a different company. Anyway, the checks ended up being returned because they had both been altered. A whole scam. I tried to reach out to Dr. Miguel Moller and now none of my messages go through to his number.
