Type of a scam Home Improvement
Basically, he has set up what looks like a real website for a legitimate plumbing company. He has 3 good reviews on his website, most likely those are fake. He has somehow duped Google into allowing them to use their Google Guarantee through the Local Services option, but the plumbing license Google has on their site comes up under a different name, when you look it up under the Department of Commerce and Insurance. He has a couple of fake plumbing license numbers, depending on the site you find him on. None are his. He does not have a business license that can be found through the state's website.
He will send out one of his workers to "fix" your problem and will charge you a very high rate. He basically demands cash only, but will accept Venmo. He claims that if you use a credit card, he'll have to charge you a huge rate because he gets charged so much by the credit card companies. He then does not actually fix the problem, and tends to make the problems worse, which is what happened to us. If you are unlucky enough to call him back to complete the job, he will yell at you, quote you a ridiculously high number for work that he can do the next day, or very soon...unlike any reputable plumbers. He will then send out his team to do the work, but none of them are actual, licensed plumbers. The work is awful, and in our case only lasted 1 week, at which point we had to call another plumbing company to come fix the problems. He says he'll give you a lifetime guarantee on his work, but he does not honor that and refuses refunds. He then wishes you luck in court and goes about his merry way. Not only is his work not up to code, which will cost you when trying to sell your property, but he does not acquire the proper permits either.
Because of him, we are already out around $11,000 and still have to pay someone else to do the work correctly.
