I saw an ad on Instagram about AI trading, they use old news from politicians urging Canadians to invest as leads. I did not think too much about it as the initial deposit is only $250 US about $375 Canadian. In order to open the account, I gave them my Drivers license, proof of residence—- a Telus bill and my SIN number . After a few day there was not much action so, I asked him , he said initial deposit too small to do anything , urged me to send more money, so through a lot of steps, I transferred another $1500 , that day he said he would help me speed up some transfer process and asked me to download an app called Anydesk , then he took control of my phone for about 20 min. At that time he was not on the screen he was supposed to help , so it raise my suspicion , but did not say anything. Afterwards , I close the App and deleted it and I went on line search about this company, and looks like some other people had bad experiences similar to mine. So I went back to my account at Ask2bid and try to withdraw my money. It was stopped and says “pending” under withdrawal, so since then I waited for more than 10 days , it still has not been approved . I think it will never . This Trader from this company , always called me from a different number everyday, when asked he said he working for a large company , they have many phone lines ?? The day I started the withdrawal , Safari detected 18 phishing incidents. I went to Apple to report the case , they asked me install antivirus ware on my phone. I reported the case to Vancouver Police , case number: **** * ******, I am very scared as my ID was given out this time . I have been scammed twice this month , the other time was online purchasing, ( reported this morning) and this. Both Scams are from Instagram, does government have no regulator to check the health of their ads ? Twice a month from the same app is too much !
