We spoke with the “owner” Trevor via text. We asked to see a video of the dog (Brian) in question that we wanted to purchase. A video was sent to us. I sent Trevor a Zelle payment 0f $1,099.00 using the email: [email protected].
We were sent the agreement to sign and send back and discussion was had about arrival times and an upgraded charge to have the dog travel via “Lap Nanny” which we chose.
Today we were then contacted by a third party agency to get travel information the name of the agency is Bluefame Logistics (918-525-0232) ([email protected]). We were contacted by the agency to get additional payment for a traveling crate. At this point in time - we started to feel that things were getting a little fishy. Once we told the travel agency that we needed more time to review the information we got an email from Trevor stating that he came home to find his wife unconscious and he was currently in ICU.
We texted him back that were were calling the police and following report with Bank of America. We have called Zelle, we have reported the fraud to Bank of America, and now with Tulsa police.
We have the email correspondence and text message to show the conversation thread.
