Texted me first saying thanks for your application and what is a good time for an interview. I know that I did not apply so I ignored it. Then they emailed me confirming an interview time and a Zoom link. So I responded asking for what position, as I didn’t recall applying. No answer….shocker. So I did a simple google search. The registered agent to this company, as well as the person listed on the LinkedIn webpage was charged in the States with identity theft and credit card fraud. It’s a total scam…..stay away.

Follow-up to report Scam ID #643455. I received a copy of the email my son was sent to interview with Dapsyn Inc., which stated that a credit check was required to be on file for all who interview with the company, and a link to a credit application. This fake company is attempting to steal credit info from unsuspecting job applicants to steal money/identities.

My son was contacted via text message and offered an interview for a marketing position with this company, and then sent an email for a video conference interview for a job for which he never applied. He did not follow-through, as this seemed fishy. Reviewing the website and trying to find the company on a map raised some red flags, and the SCC registration address (1945 Old Gallows Rd, Vienna, VA 22182) also being associated with 20 other LLC companies just seems really strange. The company is only a year old, so there isn't much history online, but I firmly believe this is a scam company that is targeting young/vulnerable people searching for jobs. My son never provided his phone number or email to this company. I don't know if they are trying to steal identities or money, but someone should investigate.
