My stolen images

I have been reporting this person and their group for Bernese Mountain Dogs for close to a year now. They were using pictures stolen of MY Bernese puppies and claiming to be a breeder selling them.
They also created multiple fake accounts also posting images of MY puppies, saying they got them from Darlene and that they recommend her to anyone looking for a puppy.

I have reported it to Facebook 100 times, I’ve had friends and family members all report her,
I’ve had countless people reach out to me that they were scammed out of $500 by this person, yet Facebook keeps telling me they are not doing anything about it.

I have a Facebook group dedicated to this scam called “Puppy Scammers Anonymous” where you can find all screenshots and messages around this scam from more than one source.

This account needs to be removed and this person needs to be blocked from Facebook entirely, from making any new accounts and all their old ones need to be locked out.

I am livid this is still going on.

Darlene Thorndsen puppy scam

I was a member of Bernese Mountain dogs for adoption. Darlene Thorndsen was an admin of the group. After a week I asked the board for a recommendation for a reputable breeder and Darlene sent a recommendation of Wilfrid Martin almost immediately. He was 3 hours away and had puppies available the next week. He sent photos and offered to facetime, which never happened. He repeatedly asked for a down payment saying he had several showings of the puppies but wanted to offer us first choice since we had inquired first. We sent Wilfrid $500 thru Zelle using our bank. He requested a screenshot of the transaction for his records. That was the last time we heard from Wilfrid or Darlene. They have both blocked us on Facebook and removed me from the group. I have shared my experience on several other Bernese Mountain Dog pages and have found dozens of victims of Darlene. She should be removed from Facebook, along with Wilfrid, for the scams they are running. Thankfully the Zelle transaction was done thru our bank and they are offering fraud protection and returning our money. I hope this review saves some other family from being scammed by these awful people.

This is absolutely sickening. I have been reporting this scam for close to a year now as they were using my images to scam people.
Facebook has ignored every one of my reports and have even sent me notices that they aren’t taking action. They should be held liable for all the people who have been scammed because they didn’t listen to me in the first place.
