In the market to adopt a Bengal kitten and found Darling Bengal website. Looked at photos online and filled out the contact us form inquiring about one specific kitten. I received an email back asking for more information. I asked for a live video chat to see the kitten. Antonio Lopez said they could not do that. He then asked for a down payment. I asked for more information and was told it would be emailed. I said I need to be sure this is not a scam. Needless to he never responded.

I have been searching for catteries that allow someone to adopt a Bengal kitten (domesticated). Clicked one on of the first sites that popped up that had information on available kittens, years of experience the breeders have had, etc. it included a option to contact them regarding specific kittens so I requested more information. I received a quick response via email about the kitten I was interested in and immediately went through all the questions I had. I requested additional pictures of the kitten since there was only one on the website, and they send me over some. Next step was to pay them through Zelle so that they could transfer ownership of the cat and prepare shipment/delivery. They walked through the process and it sounded legit. Day to ship and deliver my kitten comes along and his “flight” is delayed due to high-temperatures and I need to spend money to get him a temperature regulated crate. Then, he needs a special usda permit to enter my state (another fee). A fake animal control number then calls saying I need to send additional couple thousand dollars for shots when he was technically up to date on all required shots. With Zelle, the consumer is unable to receive any money back from transactions made. So all the money I had sent to these pretend breeders, shipping company, and animal control personnel was lost.
