Type of a scam Online Purchase
When I received nothing further after 10 days, I contacted the "seller" via the service email. I received a response claiming that the socks had shipped, that some "glitch" prevented generating a tracking number on-site, but that a tracking number was forthcoming. After several more days, I again contacted the service email requesting an update. This email claimed that the socks (which were supposed to already have been shipped) were with an airline for transit but that shipping delays might slow the shipment down. I called my bank and initiated a stop payment. I then emailed the seller and demanded a refund.
Beware anything that looks like a brand name, plus ".shop" as a domain, and beware anything that goes to an email styled "goshopcvp.com"
