D S is the contractor I spoke with. He quoted us for a job that included floors inside our house and a drainage system in our backyard. We paid him a total of $5,130. The floors took more then double the quoted time frame due to no one showing up and when they said they were “finished” they were left with spots that were never touched. A step in the basement that was supposed to be repaired was left in a moldy mess in the basement. They never returned to due the drainage in our yard despite “guaranteeing” finish dates and texting me they were on their way multiple time to ultimately never show up. When requesting our money back we were told that we would be given a refund of $2930 towards the yard work that was never done and we never received it. After researching a little I found that D S  had been arrested and charged with fraud in 2018 having been a part of an embezzlement scheme in which he and his mother stole $1.1 million.
