I applied to a few job submissions on Career Builder and I received interest by a company that goes by Logistics KML for a package inspector. I was under the impression that I had to work the first month before receiving pay, afterwards I could either choose weekly or bi weekly. The job consisted of packages being sent to me, I would inspect them and send the item to the customer. Near the date of a full month of employment, I was informed that I had an opportunity to be promoted. The issue is, I needed a credit card to make payments for the customer, which I “would” be reimbursement. Luckily I do not have a credit card and I was unable to move forward with the process. The entire month, my “supervisors” stayed in contact with me via email and call. The date that I was supposed to be paid was the last time hearing from anyone. I am a victim of wage theft.
