Signed up for Angelist, recieved an email from Jacob Lawson an online recruiter and resume database register-er/distributor for Angelist, The email said " I am glad to inform you that your resume posted on {Angel.co} has been reviewed by the HR Dept at {DataBees} and you have been shortlisted for an online interview with one of the company's Research Specialist, Miss Har[censored]a Porwal" Seemed legit, So I contacted Miss Har[censored]a via hangouts in which she explained the company, the job, the pay scale ect, she had me look over the website, they have social media sites and a nice website but there wasn't alot of info about them because it was claiming to be a start up company, well After the interview I was offered a job and then sent a contract, everything seemed legit until Har[censored]a informed me about sending me a check,and then with that check im supposed to deposit the money and pay a vender for my materials, just like a check scam but now people are taking the extra mile.. beware of this company and companys like it.
