The SAME EXACT THING AS ABOVE!

A friend posted “looking for work” on FaceBook. A girl named Deborah Dropp said to message her as she has remote work opportunities for Data Entry, for a company called Neilsen LLC in New York. I messaged her saying I was interested and she told me to download the “Signal” app on my phone & type DONE, once that was completed. She gave me a specific number to start a chat with her hiring manager of: (202) 596-9149. Then she also gave me a referral code to use.

The person I’m chatting with is “ELIZABETH MEADOR OREAN”. She personally sent me a video recording “of her” in her car stating her name & “that this is a legit job”. I went through all 3 questionnaires that she had that were timed by the way. She told me to wait 20 minutes and the higher ups would say if I was approved for the job or not. I got word that I was hired.

She asked for my full name, full mailing address, all phone numbers, email address, & DOB. She said her secretary would put it in the directory. She then asked for a selfie pic to also upload to the directory. After that she asked for full photos of front & back of my drivers license. Then she asked me if I was willing to post job referral ads on FB and she would give me $500 for that until my “equipment” arrived on Friday. She then asked for my full login info to FB. I thought that was strange because she could just send me the photo she wants me to upload.

With my Friend she made her create an ID.me account and put in her banking & SSN on there. She then asked her for her login info to ID.me. No one should be asking for personal login info.

I began to believe this was a scam, I asked her to email me job confirmation, or send me a website, a phone number to HR to verify all this info as everything was done by chat. She had an excuse for everything! I sent her the link to this article showing it’s a scam. In almost 2 years she hasn’t changed her name but she has changed her phone number? So she’s dumb for that. But she hasn’t responded once I showed her proof that I know!!

I came across a job posting for a work from home data entry clerk. I applied and was contacted via email for an interview the next day through Microsoft Teams. I conducted. Written “interview” where after they “deliberated” I was immediately hired. I was told I would need to get supplies, such as a new macbook and they would supply me the money and I would send it to the “vendors”. I was sent a check for almost $4000 for supplies and was instructed to immediately deposit it. Where I was instructed I would then be sending money to vendors.
