Fake Check with Job offer

Was texted about a job and to send a resume which I did. Then completed an online interview and assessment but did not video call with anyone. I received a job offer contract with pay rates and told I would be sent a check to pay a vendor for home office equipment. The person whom I did all correspondence was named Stephanie Hall. I received a check via express USPS shipping and deposited it in my account and the next day I sent money to the "vendor" through Zelle for my home office equipment. The day after I sent the funds the bank informed me the check bounced and then when I reached out to the company about the funds I received no response.

Initially contacted through text and then email. Regarding a job application then received offer letter stating their electronics vendor was no longer working with them so they would mail me a check if I paid their new vendor through venmo, PayPal, or cash app. Came on here and saw others experience the same thing
