someone called claiming to be my grandson but I didn't recognize his voice. he said he'd broken his nose in a car accident and I said his name. He said he was under arrest for DWI and was too embarrassed to call his mother. A few minutes later his 'attorney' called and said I'd need to post bond. He said he'd send instructions on how to wire money to the local bail bond agency. At this point my wife called our grandson's mother, we found he was fine and when the attorney called back for the info I told him we were onto the scam.
