I inquired about a border collie puppy and was sent assurances that the dog would be sent on a particular day and I sent the payment. When the day came the breeder refused to pick up the phone or text and when I was contacted by a “shipping agent” they wanted $1500 to ship the dog that they said was refundable. But they couldn’t give me the name of the company, the airline they were using, or any assurances. I refused to pay and they basically admitted they were a scam, were very unprofessional and rude and did not deliver the dog.
