Type of a scam Government Grant
They wanted me to feel out a form to verify my identity so they could deliver the money to my house that day. The info was my mothers name, my full name, my address, phone number, birth date, and other info. I refused to give them a lot of the information. I thought why did they need my name if it was on the win list.
I continued to send them messages to see what would become of it. I told them I wanted the money put on my debit card instead of delivering it to me.
They then asked me to send 2000 for service fees and deliver to my card and they would put 1 million on my card. I then proceeded to tell them that I didn't have that kind of money. While I was texting them I was also messaging my friend letting her know what was going on.
They then ask me how much I had that time. I proceeded to tell them I only had 100 and that was gas money for next 2 weeks. They didn't seem to care they ask me to send the 100 to them and the money would be on my card that day.
I tried to tell my friend that it was a scam and she sent me a picture of all the money it was all in hundred dollar bills. I ran a check on the number and it said Scam/Potential Fraud. I told the people that I ran their number and what I found out have not heard back from them
