Yesterday I spoke with a gentleman alleging to be David Shaw. Mr. Shaw stated that the software I bought from Best Buy was corrupted and that he needed to get into my system my computer to correct the issue if possible. Mr. Shaw needed me to go into Google Chrome and type in www.teamviewer.com. once mrs. Shaw in my system about five minutes later he stated he was unable to correct the issue, and that my money would be refunded. to make a long story short . Mr. Shaw asked me to fill out a online bank form cuz I don't do online banking he said he's going to transfer the $400 That was supposed to be refunded to me to my account he was unable to do so so mr. Shaw suggested PayPal's again had me fill the form out at the end of the day Mr Shaw said he made a mistake and put $2,000 too much in the PayPal account. At which time mr. Shaw start to plead with me saying Mister can you please go to the bank and get $2,000 and send it back to us I reply and said once I confirm the money is in the bank I would do so he replied and stated that the money is on hold it won't be unlocked until I get a PayPal card to activate it mr. Shaw then stated go to Kroger's and buy the Pay Pal card and once you activate it scratch the pan off and give it to me that's when I became worried instead of going to Kroger's like I told him I went right to the bank and talk to one of the managers there they said let us go ahead and change your account now because he was in your computer he's got your information so they changed my account number mr. Charles called me while I was sitting down talking to the bank manager and she said the form if you're talking to the fraud department so I did and mr. Shawl start calling me all types of names and he said he's about to f up my computer and that he did
