Oil rig romance scammer met David Prochaska on OurTime over 50 dating website. Said he was mechanical engineer on oil rig in Alaska. He worked for Akita Drilling. He was supposed to be in Seward and Anchorage when on shore. Also said he was in Canada. Was born in Norway, BD 04/24/1957. Was raised in Scotland because father was in oil business but now lives in US Murfreesboro , TN. Was married but wife died of cancer. Son named Shawn who was in Army stationed in Germany. Who’s married has wife & child & lives in W. Virginia. Daughter Ella in college in Florida. Pet pug named Liddie. Met 04/2022. Relationship lasted until 08/2024. Love bombed me. We were to be married. He needed me to handle his business because he wasn’t able to access his bank accounts. Always had excuses why he couldn’t video chat. Uses WhatsApp, Google Chat and Telegram. Changes phone numbers frequently. Was “in charge” of offshore job. Convinced me to invest. My first payment was a wire for $29k to Crypto account. He deposited a $20k check in my Service CU bank account. He sent $20,018.10 to Noon Minutes in Dubai then check bounced leaving me responsible. He maxed out all my credit cards. Took the money from the sale of my home. Threatened 3 times to have a bullet put in my head if I didn’t do as he said. He had me buy Cryptocurrency from cashier often to various wallet addresses. Also threatened me with sextortion. Stated he would send my private pictures to my children and all my contacts. I’m disabled 63 yo woman who’s now lost everything and all creditors are after me. I’m now homeless moving around from place to place. I want this man exposed. I have numerous pictures but who knows if they are truly him.
