My husband and both at the same time just received a call saying we were both getting served. The number was 866-680-4515. What's funny is the lady on the other side of the phone hesitated to answer my husband question and would never tell him what he was being served for. ?

I have basically the same story. Someone called me from a private number etc. I called the 866-679-0186. I asked them for their address to check if they were legitimate and he very rudely told me that how about you give me your case number and we will deal with it. I told him first tell me your address and then he said ok you will get served. He then hung up on me. Their scam seems very real but as soon as you show any lack of fear they try to intimidate you.

G.Roundtree meridian, Ms. I received a call from this number 866-330-2964 on April 19, 2021. This woman left a voicemail to call back immediately that I would be served papers within 1 hour. I called back she answered Davis Stein and Gresham. She transferred me to this man saying I owed a hospital bill from 2008. I asked what hospital and why haven’t I heard of this many years ago. He named a hospital that’s never been here. Then tried to cover it up by saying it was a different name years ago. I kept asking questions for information then he got very rude and was saying I was being sued for $2500 for a $500 bill. He had my social security number threatened it would be reported to my credit report. I said I don’t owe you anything and I’m not paying. If I receive papers my attorney will contact you and I hung up. I never received papers and no more calls.

I was contacted from a private number stating that I was to contact someone about a summons that they had for me and to call 18666790186 for DSG and ASSOCIATES and she provided me a case number, I called the number and got transferred to someone to talk to then they put me on hold for 5 minutes and so I hung up, I had 2 calls from 18663388031 so I called that number back and then I finally talked to a man and he said I owed a hospital bill for an ER visit in 2016 for the previous name of the hospital that had changed their name before 2016, I had been to that hospital but not for an ER visit, he said that he didn't want to take me to court and he asked if I could pay a lesser amount and settle for that, I told him that I didn't have that much money I meant I was disputing the fact that it was ER visit and that that's not what the hospital was called anymore and he kept saying my name and repeating like social security number and saying will this is you and you use this insurance and I told him that it was an old debt and that I didn't think that he could still be trying to collect for it and then he asked me if I was a lawyer and how do I know what I'm talkin about if I'm not a lawyer and I was quoting things from the Fair Credit Act and then he started getting hostile with me and saying that he didn't give two sh!/$ or not if I went to court it didn't matter to him and he also said that he would contact my family and give them my social security number and I told him that. He could not do that legally and he said yes he can do whatever he wanted basically and then he hung up on me the recording at the beginning of when I called stated that it was Davis Stein and Gresham and Associates

I received a Restricted call stating that I was to be Served papers with in the next hour, and to contact 866-909-5790 to report if I would not be available, and gave a case number. I contacted the number and a woman answered stating the office of Davis Stein and Gresham. When I asked for their address, she stated she needed my location to give the correct address. I inquired why, and she stated that they have more than one office, and she put me through to another person that was supposed to be on my case. He stated that they were suing for a local hospital in Arkansas for non payment from back in 2015. He told me an amount and one date as to which they had. I asked if they had proof of every penny owed, and he stated yes. I requested that they send me the information, he stated he could not do that. I would have to go to court to see the information, and I asked the details, and he reported that one was for my daughter, to which she has never been to the hospital, I told him that and he asked if I wanted to dispute the charge, I said yes I wanted to dispute all charges. He stated that I would have to contact the Hospital to do that and gave me the hospitals general number. I hung up and contacted the local sheriffs office who stated most likely its a scam. No one ever showed to deliver papers either.
