Someone posted on our community page about a special for vent cleaning in the neighborhood if we went in all together. So I inquired about it bc I was looking to do it. They wouldn't give me the company right away and asked for my address, as he claims he lives in my development, so I gave it. Told me licensed and insured. Then I had a random number reach out to me confirming the appt. I asked questions, then another number texted me saying a dispatcher. I called both numbers and they didn't work. Then I called the "office" and some girl answered on a cell phone who had my address. I asked them for a license and insurance or else I won't let them in. They said "You don't need one to clean" So I said if you are doing work in my house, you do, please cancel. I checked the profile of the person who set it up and it didn't say he lived in my development or even my state.
