Went to a reputable site for breeders to find a new family member. Got in touch with a person who I thought was a reputable breeder in Northern Ca. I asked all the right questions you need to ask a breeder about the animal and their operation. Because, she was 12 hours away from us, we decided to have the puppy delivered to us through a pet courier service. We also checked them out. Two hours before the puppy was to arrive we got a text telling us to look on their website. They were demanding us to pay 1800 dollars to upgrade her crate and vaccines or they would not deliver the puppy. When we questioned them and would not pay their demands, they yelled at us and told us they would leave the puppy behind in Bakersfield or hurt the puppy. When we further would not pay their demands, they got very anger and said they would report us to the police. We did file a police report with Bakersfield last known siting for the puppy. I believe the Breeder was in on this as well. Please warn all consumers.
