These guys are scammers. The name used on my call was Bryan West. They will send a Letter of Intent for a high dollar volume, send official looking paperwork which may be from a legitimate bank. Eventually they will ask for your bank Routing Number and Account Number so they can wire funds to you. You will never receive money. Once they have your bank information they can make purchases on Amazon, order gift cards, wire your money to themselves, etc. Some of these timeshare scammers are Mexican Cartel members, who stole over $40 million last year with these timeshare buyback scams.

I had the same offer to purchase an unused vacation package back from me for over $63,000. I was e-mailed a Letter of Intent during the call. When I asked why anyone would purchase a vacation package that I paid a few hundred dollars for at a price more than 20x more, they said a developer was looking to buy a lot of properties (or something like that). Apparently, the process would involve a lot of negotiation after I signed the letter. I told him I was skeptical but I would look into it. Another odd thing was that they did not have to correct spelling of my last name on the Letter of Intent.
