I had a message on my voicemail with a computer generated voice stating: "Four Working hours and once ... expired after that, you will be taken under custody by the local cops as there are four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment. We would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case, before taking any legal action against you. The number to reach us is 607-595-2133 I repeat 607-595-2133 thank you"

No organization or names given, and no request for anything but the call back. I know I haven't done a thing wrong, and when I googled the number I found people reporting the same recording.

Got a in state call. It was an auto mated call. Said I owed on a car which I don’t and I foolishly stayed on the phone. It asked if I would like to talk to a live person I almost said yes but the call ended before I could

Phone number 585-633-2686 (Rochester, NY) called twice within same hour and left two of the same messages. The messages were automated and stated I needed to call them back in order to prevent them from sending the lawsuit to the local county office.

Got a phone call from 607-595-1436. I don't answer unknown phone calls. They left a message claiming there are 4 law suits against me by law enforcement and they are coming to get me and I need to call them back right away. I deleted the message. there are other victims saying the caller tried to get their information. It can be scary, especially for people who are less confident about such things like new immigrants, elderly or young students.

I was called by a number, they left me a voice mail threatening my arrest if I did not comply to there request. They said they were notifying authorities as there were serious allegations against my name. I called back a man threatened me. I hung up.

Phone rang and I did not answer. They left pre recorded message

Message said to call back or they would submit a warrant for my arrest !

I received a phone call from the above number (716-229-8057). The automated voice left a message for some unknown individual [garbled name], indicating that, "a complaint has been filed against you in your district court." The automated voice requested a physical address to avoid documentation being sent to the home or place of employment. The automated voice stated, "be mindful failure to comply or respond forceful recovery would be initiated without further notice," and then directed me to press one to speak with a representative.

give no info on who they are nor debt itself when asked -- hang up when request these. Wanted ss# "to confirm". Left msg for me on my son's cell which I've never given out to anyone!

Msg stated that they were calling on behalf of a possible debt collection and that I was to call this number back as soon as possible. If I do not call back, there will be a warrant for my arrest. I rec'd the call on 12/4/2017, 5:07 PM. The phone number they left was: 1-206-395-3229.

Received voicemail message that I have 24 hours to respond after that I will be taken into custody by the local cops as there are serious allegations pressed in my name and requesting that I get back to them to discuss the case before legal action is taken against me.

" Appear before a magistrate judge for a federal offense. My number is 718-360-5823. I repeat at 718-360-5823 do not disregard this message and do return the call now if you don't return the call and I don't hear from your attorney either then the only thing I can do is wish you. Good luck as the situation unfolds on you goodbye." Voice appears to be robotic. Caller ID on my cell said Caller Unknown so it went straight to voice mail.

I was sent a letter to my home with no name or address. Says I have over $19,000.00 of unsecured debt. It says I "have been selected by our Management Division and are now eligible to resolve this debt."

"Reduction of total debt to: $6,732."

It says also "Failure to respond may affect your legal right"

I called the number 1-866-597-5872 and gave them the "Processing Number on the letter ***" the person then wanted my name. I said you tell me my name and she said my first name. She then wanted my phone number and I refused she said she was just the answering service and could not assist me except to transfer my call. When I told her she was working for scammers who were trying to steal money she hung up.

On the bottom of the letter it listed a bunch of credit cards that have adjusted their lending policies "with the implementation of the Credit Card Accountability, Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009. I contacted all my cards that were listed and they all put an alert on my cards and one recommended I contact BBB. I just purchase this new home in 2016. Maybe that is how they got my address.
