Type of a scam Debt Collections
They used the callback number as (855) 926-1782. The person who claimed the account number to pay the loan if we wanted to settle was PL8664. This is shameful because my son resides in another state and works in a remote area, he was worried someone was trying to scam me and or his family.
Someone should document this fraud as I plan to contact the State of Georgia and the State of Florida's Attorney General's Office of Consumer Affairs. I feel certain if this individual was brazen enough to contact me and family members out of state using Citibank they most certainly have used this type of scam to harass, lie, cheat, and steal from others.
