this company called me husband confirming an order for advertising in the business phone book. my husbands is not fluent in english as a first language and he was unaware of what he was being told. he did not place an order for advertising he thought he was confirming details of something that was already active. this happened in July which i was unaware of. My husband most commonly asks caller to call me to confirm anything when he receives these types of calls, so since he started getting these calls a couple of week ago saying they were from collections he asked them to call me. I also do all of the business accounting so i could check in anything was amiss. When this company called me they advised me that my husband purchased their service and the invoice they sent have been unpaid. I have not received any invoices and was not aware of the purchase. they informed me that they had a recording of my husband accepting the terms but i would like the recording of my husband making this purchase, they do not have that phone call as it was apparently a telemarketing call. I also have a problem with this because our phone numbers have been on the do not call list for over 15 years. why would he get a telemarketing call.... to conclude this company is now harrasing me offering to make me a deal so they dont send this to legal collections action
