Did a loan modification with them. I thougth it was legit. It ended up being a scam. They just took the money for themselves. I lost $8041. Don't deal with Nationwide Retention Center in California.

It has come to my attention that for the past 2.5 years I have been scammed by a debt resolution company, Litigation Practice Group (LPG), who according to the ScamPulse.com was a legitimate law office offering debt resolution services. I signed up for their program and have been paying them $316.96 / 2x monthly to represent me by negotiating with creditors to decrease, settle or invalidate my debts and repair my credit score along the way.

I just found out a few weeks ago and have been trying to wrap my head around it / next steps. LPG filed chapter 11, which I was told means very unlikely to receive a refund but I want to fight and try. I have paid them $19k over 60 payments the last 2.5 years and they have done nothing for me except ruin my credit score and take my money. I could have paid off the debt by now.

First I got a text, then I started getting phone messages claiming to be a debt recovery agency called National Debt Recovery. I find it on your site in AZ. The text gave a name of Lydia supposedly living in Schofield WI who owes money for child care. No surprise, she didn't respond. Now they keep calling from phone number 651-349-6703 and leaving messages to call 1-800-939-6740. I believe they are scammers so I am reporting them.

Claim to be a "document Management Service ", they consolidate your credit card debit and supposed to pay your credit card companies. They have taken $9000 and have NOT paid a single cent to my mother's credit card debt/companies. The credit card companies keep calling asking for payment and I explain payment should be coming from this company "FIXIT DMS". They have NOT paid anyone. They have kept my mother's money for themselves. She still owes the credit card companies. My mother is DEAF & ELDERLY. They contacted her days after my father passed at her most vulnerable. They should be ashamed! Going after a widow who struggles monthly to keep the lights on.
