I received a call from people claiming to be part of the government but who were not actually from a government agency. They were claiming to provide debt elimination service for senior citizens only. They asked me for both money and personal information, saying that they were going to eliminate $19K for me. They asked me to send $4,999 by calling US bank to authorize the wire transfer, and they would stay on the phone with me while I did that. I did not send them that money.
