Got a phone call from a local number trying to offer debt relief. I was asked for credit card numbers and social security numbers, of which I never hand out over the phone. Neither should anyone. When I began questioning them, I was handed off to a “manager” who had a foreign accent. Said “manager” asked for the same information. I began questioning their validity again, and they put me on hold. Another individual with a foreign accent picked up and started the same requests for information. Again I started questioning their validity and he finally hung up after muttering some aggressive words.
