I received a call stating to call a number back to discuss an unresolved debt. Knowing I have no past due debts because I just finished paying my debt settlement creat through consumer credit counseling of Buffalo. I asked further questions to which the dates of a former employer, the bank account, and loan original date did not line up at all. The bank account they told me I used to have the loan deposited to and payments came out of was used in 2015. I closed that bank account in 2009. None of this was possible. Plus when I asked if the loan came out in 2015 and I stopped paying it in 2018 why wasn’t it on my credit report to which I was given that’s not how this company works. I let the person know I spoke to send my information in the mail to handle this further. She stated okay she’d pass it along. Nothing more and hung up. I would think if this was also a legit debt and business they’d want my current address to send this info to me. The person I spoke to did not even ask me. Attached is a screen shot of the messages left.
